Network based surveillance systems work with either wired or wireless IP cameras that connect to a network video recorder. Ethernet cables are used to connect the cameras to the recorder and supply power to them. Network switches with PoE can be used to connect groups of cameras together preventing multiple cable runs back to the recorder. Network based systems are a new technology over the previous analogue systems and are considered easier to install and support resolutions beyond 1080p.View Complete Range of IP Surveillance systems
